DermaQuest - Chemical Peels

What are Skin Peels?

Skin peels harness the power of naturally occurring acids and active ingredients to deeply exfoliate and brighten the skin. The treatments stimulate new cell growth and collagen production, helping to reveal healthier, brighter and fresher skin.
We offer a variety of industry leading Skin peels that involve applying a non-toxic chemical solution to the skin to encourage the removal of the top layer of skin cells and encourage new cells to grow. Revealing, softer, firmer and healthier skin.

We have a selections of tailored peels for specific problems such as:

  • Acne
  • Acne scars
  • Pigmentation
  • Aging

Chemical peels to treat acne would be Salicylic acid 20%, TCA and Pumpkin.
The most effective way to treat acne is with Salicylic acid, as it penetrates down into the sebaceous gland and helps to regulate the sebaceous activity, also killing the bacteria forming within, it is also anti-inflammatory, and soothes irritation. Suitable for most acne concerns.

Aging, Pigmentation, Acne

To treat aging, pigment and acne concerns, the most effective peels would be TCA and Pumpkin Peel. Containing key ingredients to stimulate the remodelling process of collagen, skin brightening and pigment breakdown while salicylic acid is for persistent acne concerns.

To treat pigmentation, the chemical peels that would be best would be Mandelic and Magobrite. These contain special ingredients to lighten the skin tone, brighten undesired persistent pigmentation, while encouraging cell turnover for healthier skin and preventing recurrence. .

Depending on the strength of your peel, the lower strength peels cause mild flaking, soreness and tender skin, lasting about 5 days. More intense peels can cause your skin to have a more dramatic effect like peeling. It will last between 7-10 days.

The typical sensation of chemical peels is heat and some tingling. Cooling is applied for optimal comfort.

What our customers are saying

Outstanding service!

I came in for laser hair removal. I was quite nervous but the practitioner was really reassuring, friendly and professional that I hardly felt a thing! Will definitely be back, and the treatment has been so effective and long lasting I'm really happy with the results

Laura, Southampton

I had my first consultation with Natasha, she was very informative, understanding and listened to everything i had to say. I felt respected as an individual. Booked my first treatment already and so excited!

Joe, Bournemouth
Acne Peel

After my initial consultation, I prepped my skin and had the acne peel.  I was nervous, but Tasha talked me through every step, which really helped me feel reassured and calm.  The result is amazing, and whilst my skin has really struggled with acne over the last couple of years, I can feel and see the difference.  The Dermaquest products recommended really work.  Thank you!
